Penn Manor Comets (Millersville, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Lampeter-Strasburg Pioneers (Lampeter, PA), 12-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Comets now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Cedar Crest for a Lancaster-Lebanon Section 1 challenge on Wednesday, April 3. Penn Manor will battle a Falcons squad coming off a 17-0 non-league loss to Ephrata (Ephrata, PA). The Falcons record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Lampeter-Strasburg falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Berks Catholic (Reading, PA) to battle the Saints in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 27. The Saints enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Berks Catholic won 5-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Wilson (West Lawn, PA)
