Matoaca Warriors (Chesterfield, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Thomas Jefferson Vikings (Richmond, VA), 13-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Colonial Heights for a Central challenge on Tuesday, March 26. Matoaca will battle a Colonials squad coming off a 20-2 league win over Meadowbrook (Richmond, VA). The Colonials record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Thomas Jefferson falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Armstrong (Richmond, VA) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 9. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
