The Parkway Panthers softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Van Wert Cougars to 1 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Parkway moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Panthers host Memorial (St. Marys, OH) to play the Roughriders in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 26. The Roughriders come into the game with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Cougars play the Crestview Knights (Convoy, OH) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 28. Van Wert will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Knights come into the game with a 0-1 record after their 7-2 non-league loss to Archbold (Archbold, OH).
