The South San Antonio West Cougars softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Randolph Ro-Hawks to 3 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, South San Antonio West improves its record to 2-7 on the year. The Cougars travel to Poth (Poth, TX) to clash with the Pirates in a 3A Region IV District 27 game on Thursday, March 28. The Pirates come into the game with a record of 16-6. Poth won 15-3 in their recent league game against Poteet (Poteet, TX)

In their next game, the Ro-Hawks clash with the Cole Cougars (San Antonio, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 26 game, on Thursday, March 28. Randolph will attempt to improve on its 2-15 season record. The Cougars come into the game with a 5-17 record after their 15-5 league loss to Nixon-Smiley (Nixon, TX).
