In Monday's non-league contest, the Westwood Warriors (Mesa, AZ) softball team the host Rincon/University Rangers (Tucson, AZ), by a margin of 13-11.

With the triumph, Westwood moves its record to 7-6 on the year. The Warriors host Mesa (Mesa, AZ) to play the Jackrabbits in a 6A East Valley contest on Tuesday, March 26. The Jackrabbits come into the contest with a record of 2-11. Mesa won 24-5 in their recent non-league contest against Camelback (Phoenix, AZ)

In their next game, the Rangers play the Buena Colts (Sierra Vista, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, March 27. Rincon/University will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Colts come into the contest with a 4-12 record after their 20-1 non-league win over Cholla (Tucson, AZ).
