Sage Creek Bobcats (Carlsbad, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Southwest EC Eagles (El Centro, CA), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Bobcats now own a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tri-City Christian for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 26. Sage Creek will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 8-5 league loss to Maranatha Christian (San Diego, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 6-4.

With the loss, Southwest EC falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Clairemont (San Diego, CA) to battle the Chieftains in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 25. The Chieftains enter the challenge with a record of 6-3. Clairemont lost 10-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Helix (La Mesa, CA)
