The A.J. Ellender Patriots (Houma, LA) baseball got by the host Assumption Mustangs (Napoleonville, LA), 6-5 in Tuesday's league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 8-15 record. They take the field next when they host Riverside Academy for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 26. A.J. Ellender will clash with a Rebels team coming off a 14-1 non-league loss to De La Salle (New Orleans, LA). The Rebels record now stands at 15-9.

With the defeat, Assumption drops to 2-20 on the year. The Mustangs travel to South Lafourche (Galliano, LA) to clash with the Tarpons in a 4A District 8 challenge on Thursday, March 27. The Tarpons go into the challenge with a record of 14-8. South Lafourche lost 13-3 in their recent league challenge against Vandebilt Catholic (Houma, LA)
