The Trailblazers now own a 12-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Science Hill for a 4A District 1 challenge on Monday, March 31.
With the defeat, Athens drops to 13-6 on the year. The Golden eagles travel to Normal Community (Normal, IL) to clash with the Ironmen in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 26. The Ironmen go into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Normal Community lost 11-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Edwardsville (Edwardsville, IL)
