The Belen Eagles baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host Socorro Warriors to 0 in the Eagles non-league win on Tuesday.
The Eagles now own a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they host Portales for a non-league test on Thursday, March 27. Belen will clash with a Rams team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Clovis (Clovis, NM). The Rams record now stands at 1-3.
With the defeat, Socorro drops to 3-5 on the year. The Warriors travel to Highland (Albuquerque, NM) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league test on Friday, March 28. The Hornets go into the test with a record of 2-7. Highland lost 15-5 in their recent non-league test against West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM)
