North Carolina High School Baseball - Perquimans wallops Bertie

March 25, 2025: Hertford, NC 27944

The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC) and the visiting Bertie Falcons (Windsor, NC), observed Perquimans's baseball squad overcome Bertie by a final score of 19-3.

With the triumph, Perquimans moves its record to 9-3 on the season. The Pirates travel to Tarboro (Tarboro, NC) to confront the Vikings in a Four Rivers 1A contest on Tuesday, April 1. The Vikings come into the contest with a record of 7-3.

The Falcons now hold a 3-10 record. They play next when they host Hobgood Charter for a non-league game on Wednesday, March 26. Bertie will face a Raiders team coming off a 10-2 league loss to Cape Hatteras (Buxton, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 3-1.
