The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Platteview Trojans (Springfield, NE) and the visiting Malcolm Clippers (Malcolm, NE), saw Platteview's baseball team get by Malcolm by a tally of 1-0.
The Trojans (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Blair (Blair, NE). The Bears enter the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Blair was tipped by Concordia/Brownell/Omaha Christian Academy (Omaha, NE), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Clippers face the Wayne Blue Devils (Wayne, NE) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 28. Malcolm will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Blue Devils enter the battle with a 2-2 record after their 7-3 non-league loss to Thurston-Cuming County (Bancroft, NE).
