The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Oak Grove Tigers (Oak Grove, LA) and the host Neville Tigers (Monroe, LA), saw Oak Grove's baseball team gain a win over Neville by a tally of 11-0.
The Tigers (10-8) will now prepare for their battle against Beekman Charter (Bastrop, LA). The Tigers enter the 2A District 2 battle with a 5-12 record. In their last battle, Beekman Charter prevailed over Summerfield (Summerfield, LA), 13-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Tigers face the Ouachita Parish Lions (Monroe, LA) in a 5A District 2 battle, on Thursday, March 27. Neville will attempt to upgrade on its 9-16 season record. The Lions enter the battle with a 5-14 record after their 7-2 non-league loss to Mangham (Mangham, LA).
