In Tuesday's non-league bout, the Plainfield South Cougars (Plainfield, IL) baseball squad edged the visiting Streator Bulldogs (Streator, IL), by a tally of 7-6.
Next up, the Cougars encounter the Argo Argonauts (Summit, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 27. Plainfield South will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Argonauts enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL).
