Belleville West Maroons (Belleville, IL) backers exited the stadium satisfied Tuesday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting Hazelwood West Wildcats (Hazelwood, MO), 13-1 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Belleville West improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Maroons host Oakville (St. Louis, MO) to play the Tigers in a non-league game on Friday, March 28. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 0-0.
The Wildcats now have a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Edwardsville for a non-league game on Thursday, April 3.
