In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Indian River Indians lacrosse squad scored a good 18-6 win over the Worcester Prep Mallards.
The Indians (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Smyrna (Smyrna, DE). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Smyrna was overwhelmed by Milford (Milford, DE), 12-5, in a league contest.
Next, the Mallards meet the Caravel Buccaneers (Bear, DE) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, April 3. Worcester Prep will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
