New Covenant Academy Warriors (Springfield, MO) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting McDonald County Mustangs (Anderson, MO), 7-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, New Covenant Academy moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Cassville (Cassville, MO) to meet the Wildcats in a Class 2 District 5 test on Thursday, March 27. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Mustangs now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Willard for a non-league test on Thursday, March 27.
