The Hastings Tigers baseball team scored 16 runs and held the host York Dukes to 0 in the Tigers non-league win on Tuesday.
The Tigers now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Gretna for a test on Thursday, March 27. Hastings will play a Dragons team coming off a 10-7 non-league loss to Norfolk (Norfolk, NE). The Dragons record now stands at 0-2.
With the defeat, York drops to 1-2 on the year. The Dukes host Adams Central (Hastings, NE) to play the Patriots in a non-league test on Thursday, April 3. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 2-0. Adams Central won 12-1 in their recent non-league test against St. Paul/Palmer (St. Paul, NE)
