The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Sycamore Spartans (Sycamore, IL) and the host Central Rockets (Burlington, IL), observed Sycamore's softball team prevail over Central by a tally of 16-0.

The Spartans (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Harlem (Machesney Park, IL). The Huskies go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Harlem was routed by Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL), 13-10, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Rockets clash with the Cary-Grove Trojans (Cary, IL) in a bout, on Monday, April 7. Central will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record.
