Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Acalanes Dons (Lafayette, CA) and the visiting Northgate Broncos (Walnut Creek, CA), witnessed Acalanes's lacrosse squad hold off Northgate by a count of 6-5.

The Dons (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Alhambra (Martinez, CA). The Bulldogs enter the Diablo Athletic League contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Alhambra nipped Moreau Catholic (Hayward, CA), 16-3, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Broncos meet the Las Lomas Knights (Walnut Creek, CA) in a Diablo Athletic League contest, on Friday, March 28. Northgate will attempt to move on its 2-6 season record. The Knights enter the contest with a 1-7 record after their 8-5 league loss to Clayton Valley Charter (Concord, CA).
