The Darlington Tigers held off the host Wheeler Wildcats lacrosse team by a tally of 9-8 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next up, the Tigers play the Kell Longhorns (Marietta, GA) in a 1A Area 1 game, on Thursday, March 27. Darlington will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Longhorns come into the game with a 5-6 record after their 5-2 non-league win over Kennesaw Mountain (Kennesaw, GA).
The Wildcats (5-5) will now prepare for their game against Cherokee (Canton, GA). The Warriors come into the 3A Area 4 game with a 5-5 record. In their last game, Cherokee tipped North Forsyth (Cumming, GA), 9-8, in a non-league game.
