In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host East Grand Rapids Pioneers lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-9 triumph over the Detroit Country Day Yellowjackets.

The Pioneers (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Brother Rice (Bloomfield Hills, MI). The Warriors go into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Brother Rice held off St. Francis de Sales (Toledo, OH), 16-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Yellowjackets clash with the Catholic Central Cougars (Grand Rapids, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 28. Detroit Country Day will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Cougars go into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 11-8 league loss to Hudsonville (Hudsonville, MI).
