Georgia High School Lacrosse - Effingham County drops to Lakeside

Lakeside Panthers (Evans, GA) followers exited the stadium satisfied Tuesday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting Effingham County Rebels (Springfield, GA), 19-5 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Lakeside advances its record to 9-1 on the season. The Panthers travel to Greenbrier (Evans, GA) to play the Wolfpack in a 2A Area 7 game on Friday, March 28. The Wolfpack come into the game with a record of 5-6. Greenbrier won 15-3 in their recent league game against Grovetown (Grovetown, GA)

The Rebels now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Calvary Day for a 2A Area 4 game on Friday, March 28. Effingham County will play a Cavaliers team coming off a 7-5 non-league loss to May River (Bluffton, SC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 5-3.
