With the victory, Great Crossing advances its record to 2-5 on the season. The host Sayre (Lexington, KY) to play the Spartans in a KLA North - 2 game on Wednesday, March 26. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 3-2.

The Bearcats now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Paul Laurence Dunbar for a non-league game on Friday, March 28. Walton-Verona will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 13-9 non-league win over Shelby County (Shelbyville, KY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-3.
