Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Paul Laurence Dunbar Bulldogs (Lexington, KY) and the visiting Shelby County Rockets (Shelbyville, KY), witnessed Paul Laurence Dunbar's lacrosse squad gain a win over Shelby County by a count of 11-8.

The Bulldogs (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Walton-Verona (Walton, KY). The Bearcats enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Walton-Verona by Great Crossing (Georgetown, KY), 10-2, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Rockets meet the Great Crossing (Georgetown, KY) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, April 9. Shelby County will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The enter the contest with a 2-6 record after their 17-0 league loss to Sayre (Lexington, KY).
