The Alcovy Tigers soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Winder-Barrow Bulldoggs to 1 in the Tigers league victory on Tuesday.

The Tigers now hold a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Putnam County for a non-league bout on Wednesday, March 26. Alcovy will play a War Eagles squad coming off a 5-4 league win over Social Circle (Social Circle, GA). The War Eagles record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Winder-Barrow moves to 5-8 on the campaign. The Bulldoggs host Apalachee (Winder, GA) to clash with the Wildcats in a 5A Area 8 test on Thursday, April 3. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 4-7.
