Georgia High School Soccer - Pinecrest Academy nudges Athens Academy

The Pinecrest Academy Paladins soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Athens Academy Spartans to 2 in the Paladins non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Paladins now hold a 11-2 record. They play next when they host Georgia-Cumberland Academy for a GAPPS I-AA Region 1 bout on Wednesday, March 26. Pinecrest Academy will play a Jaguars squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Johnson Ferry Christian Academy (Marietta, GA). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, Athens Academy moves to 4-5 on the year. The Spartans travel to Providence Christian Academy (Lilburn, GA) to play the Storm in a 1A D-I Area 8 bout on Thursday, March 27. The Storm go into the bout with a record of 10-3. Providence Christian Academy lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Discovery (Lawrenceville, GA)
