The Calhoun Yellow Jackets soccer squad scored 8 points and held the visiting LaFayette Ramblers to 0 in the Yellow Jackets league victory on Tuesday.

The Yellow Jackets now hold a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Wesleyan for a non-league bout on Friday, March 28. Calhoun will play a Wolves squad coming off a 4-1 non-league win over St. Francis (Alpharetta, GA). The Wolves record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, LaFayette moves to 1-7 on the year. The Ramblers host Gilmer (Ellijay, GA) to play the Bobcats in a 3A Area 7 bout on Thursday, March 27. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Gilmer 2-2 in their recent league bout against Northwest Whitfield (Tunnel Hill, GA)
