Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the LaGrange Grangers (LaGrange, GA) and the visiting Troup County Tigers (LaGrange, GA), saw LaGrange's soccer squad hold off Troup County by a count of 2-1.

The Grangers (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA). The Wildcats enter the 4A Area 4 battle with a 10-2 record. In their last battle, Whitewater tipped Sandy Creek (Tyrone, GA), 4-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Tigers battle the Mary Persons Bulldogs (Forsyth, GA) in a 4A Area 4 battle, on Thursday, March 27. Troup County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 10-3 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Stratford Academy (Macon, GA).
