Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA) and the host Pickens Dragons (Jasper, GA), saw Lumpkin County's soccer squad hold off Pickens by a count of 1-0.

The Indians (5-6) will now prepare for their battle against Greater Atlanta Christian (Norcross, GA). The Spartans enter the 3A Area 6 battle with a 10-2 record. In their last battle, Greater Atlanta Christian tipped Lovett (Atlanta, GA), 4-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Dragons battle the North Hall Trojans (Gainesville, GA) in a 3A Area 6 battle, on Friday, March 28. Pickens will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Trojans enter the battle with a 3-8 record after their 3-2 league loss to Chestatee (Gainesville, GA).
