The Carencro Bears softball squad (Lafayette, LA), was routed 16-0 in Tuesday's league contest with the host Acadiana Rams (Lafayette, LA)
With the triumph, Acadiana improves its record to 12-9 on the year. The Rams travel to Sulphur (Sulphur, LA) to face the Golden Tors in a 5A District 3 contest on Wednesday, March 26. The Golden Tors enter the contest with a record of 10-11. Sulphur won 10-2 in their recent league contest against New Iberia (New Iberia, LA)
The Bears now hold a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Sam Houston for a 5A District 3 contest on Thursday, March 27. Carencro will face a Broncos squad coming off a 11-0 league win over Southside (Youngsville, LA). The Broncos record now stands at 19-2.
