The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Assumption Mustangs (Napoleonville, LA) and the host E.D. White Cardinals (Thibodaux, LA), observed Assumption's softball team get by E.D. White by a tally of 2-0.

The Mustangs (18-2) will now prepare for their bout against Ascension Christian (Gonzales, LA). The go into the non-league bout with a 9-6 record. In their last bout, Ascension Christian tipped East Iberville (St. Gabriel, LA), 17-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Cardinals clash with the A.J. Ellender Patriots (Houma, LA) in a 4A District 7 bout, on Thursday, March 27. E.D. White will attempt to advance on its 11-8 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 19-0 non-league win over Cohen (New Orleans, LA).
