The Cuba City Cubans edged the visiting Morristown-Hamblen East Hurricanes softball squad by a count of 4-3 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Cubans play the Orange Beach Makos (Orange Beach, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, March 26. Cuba City will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Makos enter the challenge with a 10-1 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Ocean Springs (Ocean Springs, MS).
The Hurricanes (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against West Point (Cullman, AL). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 9-11 record. In their last challenge, West Point was nudged by Houston Academy (Dothan, AL), 10-0, in a non-league challenge.
