The Lake Forest Spartans softball team scored 27 runs and held the host Dover Senators to 0 in the Spartans non-league win on Tuesday.

The Spartans now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Delmar for a Henlopen South battle on Thursday, March 27. Lake Forest will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Milford (Milford, DE). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Dover moves to 0-1 on the season. The Senators travel to Caesar Rodney (Camden, DE) to confront the Riders in a Henlopen North battle on Thursday, March 27. The Riders come into the battle with a record of 0-0.
