The Fisher Gators (Lafitte, LA) softball routed the host Jefferson RISE Charter (Harvey, LA), 22-3 in Tuesday's league outing.
The Gators now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverside Academy for a non-league outing on Wednesday, March 26. Fisher will encounter a Rebels team coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Ascension Catholic (Donaldsonville, LA). The Rebels record now stands at 13-3.
With the loss, Jefferson RISE Charter moves to 0-6 on the season. The travel to Haynes Academy (Metairie, LA) to encounter the in a 2A District 9 outing on Thursday, March 27. The come into the outing with a record of 4-4. Haynes Academy won 15-5 in their recent non-league outing against Newman (New Orleans, LA)
