Texas High School Softball - Follett drops to Highland Park

The Follett Panthers softball squad (Follett, TX), was routed 15-2 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the host Highland Park Hornets (Amarillo, TX)

With the triumph, Highland Park improves its record to 5-12 on the year. The Hornets travel to Sunray (Sunray, TX) to face the Bobcats in a 2A Region I District 1 contest on Friday, March 28. The Bobcats enter the contest with a record of 2-2. Sunray lost 14-12 in their recent league contest against Gruver (Gruver, TX)

The Panthers now hold a 0-2 record. They play next when they host West Texas for a 2A Region I District 1 contest on Friday, March 28. Follett will face a Comanches squad coming off a 9-8 league win over Sanford-Fritch (Fritch, TX). The Comanches record now stands at 7-4.
