The Los Lunas Tigers softball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Gallup Bengals to 2 in the Tigers non-league win on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bernalillo for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 27. Los Lunas will confront a Spartans team coming off a 20-3 non-league win over Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM). The Spartans record now stands at 6-4.
With the loss, Gallup moves to 2-7 on the season. The Bengals travel to Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM) to confront the Demons in a non-league battle on Monday, March 31. The Demons come into the battle with a record of 7-7. Santa Fe won 14-3 in their recent non-league battle against Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM)
