The Grapevine Mustangs softball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Irving Tigers to 0 in the Mustangs non-league win on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Colleyville Heritage for a 5A Region I District 7 battle on Friday, March 28. Grapevine will encounter a Panthers team coming off a 9-6 league win over Richland (North Richland Hills, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 10-8.

With the loss, Irving moves to 8-12 on the season. The Tigers travel to Ryan (Denton, TX) to encounter the Raiders in a non-league battle on Friday, March 28. The Raiders come into the battle with a record of 12-5. Ryan won 6-1 in their recent league battle against Denton (Denton, TX)
