In Tuesday's league test, the Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy Tigers (Westwego, LA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Haynes Academy (Metairie, LA), by a tally of 9-0.
Next, the Tigers clash with the Thomas Jefferson (Gretna, LA) in a 2A District 9 test, on Thursday, March 27. Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy will attempt to advance on its 10-5 season record. The go into the test with a 4-9 record after their 16-1 non-league loss to Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy (Kenner, LA).
The (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Newman (New Orleans, LA). The Greenies go into the non-league test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Newman was routed by University Lab (Baton Rouge, LA), 28-18, in a non-league test.
