In Tuesday's non-league test, the Kirtland Central Broncos (Kirtland, NM) softball squad overwhelmed the host Newcomb Skyhawks (Newcomb, NM), by a tally of 20-0.
Next, the Broncos clash with the Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league test, on Thursday, March 27. Kirtland Central will attempt to advance on its 5-6 season record. The Matadors go into the test with a 5-5 record after their 9-2 non-league loss to Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM).
The Skyhawks (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Laguna Acoma (New Laguna, NM). The Hawks go into the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Laguna Acoma prevailed over Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM), 6-5, in a non-league test.
