Wicksburg Panthers (Newton, AL) supporters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Mineral Point Pointers (Mineral Point, WI), 6-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Wicksburg improves its record to 23-5 on the year. The Panthers travel to Columbia Central (Columbia, TN) to play the Lions in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 25. The Lions enter the game with a record of 7-1.

The Pointers now hold a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Orange Beach for a non-league game on Wednesday, March 26. Mineral Point will play a Makos squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Ocean Springs (Ocean Springs, MS). The Makos record now stands at 10-1.
