The St. Michael Warriors triumphed over the visiting Plaquemine Green Devils softball squad by a count of 10-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.
Next, the Warriors play the Tara Trojans (Baton Rouge, LA) in a 4A District 6 challenge, on Thursday, March 27. St. Michael will attempt to upgrade on its 11-6 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 23-3 non-league win over Baker (Baker, LA).
The Green Devils (9-8) will now prepare for their challenge against East Iberville (St. Gabriel, LA). The Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 4-9 record. In their last challenge, East Iberville was routed by Ascension Christian (Gonzales, LA), 17-1, in a league challenge.
