In Tuesday's non-league test, the Waterloo Vikings (Atwater, OH) softball squad got by the visiting Woodridge Bulldogs (Peninsula, OH), by a tally of 7-6.
Next, the Vikings clash with the Memorial Red Devils (Campbell, OH) in a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet test, on Thursday, March 27. Waterloo will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Red Devils go into the test with a 1-1 record after their 8-6 non-league loss to Harding (Warren, OH).
The Bulldogs (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Firestone (Akron, OH). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Firestone was nudged by Ellet (Akron, OH), 10-0, in a league test.
