The Fieldcrest Knights the host Seneca Fighting Irish baseball team by a count of 8-3 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Knights now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bloomington Central Catholic for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 30.
With the defeat, Seneca drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Fighting irish host St. Bede (Peru, IL) to encounter the Bruins in a Tri-County bout on Thursday, March 26. The Bruins enter the bout with a record of 3-1. St. Bede won 7-0 in their recent league bout against Seneca (Seneca, IL)
