The Olympia Spartans edged the visiting St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans softball squad by a count of 4-3 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Spartans play the Limestone Rockets (Bartonville, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, March 26. Olympia will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Rockets enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 7-5 non-league loss to Galesburg (Galesburg, IL).
The Spartans (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Champaign Central (Champaign, IL). The Maroons enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Champaign Central was nudged by Metamora (Metamora, IL), 5-0, in a non-league battle.
