In Saturday's non-league game, the host Bloomfield Bobcats baseball team scored a tight 8-7 victory over the Artesia Bulldogs.
The Bobcats (6-4) will now prepare for their game against Pagosa Springs (Pagosa Springs, CO). The Pirates go into the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Pagosa Springs was edged by Montrose (Montrose, CO), 17-2, in a non-league game.
The Bulldogs (6-6) will now prepare for their game against Hobbs (Hobbs, NM). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 11-2 record. In their last game, Hobbs edged Centennial (Las Cruces, NM), 6-5, in a non-league match.
