St. Michael's Horsemen (Santa Fe, NM) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars (Albuquerque, NM), 8-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, St. Michael's upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Horsemen host West Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NM) to battle the Dons in a 3A District 2 test on Tuesday, March 29. The Dons come into the test with a record of 3-5. West Las Vegas lost 9-8 in their recent non-league test against Taos (Taos, NM)
With the defeat, Atrisco Heritage Academy falls to 3-11 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM) to battle the Rams in a 5A District 1 test on Tuesday, March 29. The Rams come into the test with a record of 16-1. Rio Rancho won 4-3 in their recent non-league test against Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM)
