The Cary Academy Chargers baseball team (Cary, NC), was overwhelmed 9-4 in Saturday's non-league outing with the host Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC)

The Lions now hold a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greensboro Day School for a non-league outing on Monday, March 28. Covenant Day will confront a Bengals team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Wesleyan Christian Academy (High Point, NC). The Bengals record now stands at 5-3.

Next, the Chargers confront the Wake Christian Academy Bulldogs (Raleigh, NC) in a NCISAA Triangle outing, on Tuesday, March 29. Cary Academy will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a 4-4 record after their 10-2 non-league win over Severn School (Severna Park, MD).
