The Deerfield-Windsor Knights baseball team scored 4 runs and limited the visiting Pelham Hornets to 3 in the Knights non-league victory on Saturday.
The Knights (7-8) will now prepare for their match against First Presbyterian Day (Macon, GA). The Vikings go into the A Private Region 1 match with a 12-3 record. In their last match, First Presbyterian Day edged Eagle's Landing Christian Academy (McDonough, GA), 12-2, in a non-league match.
The Hornets (7-5) will now prepare for their match against Terrell County (Dawson, GA). The Greenwave go into the A Public Region 1 match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Terrell County was edged by Miller County (Colquitt, GA), 14-1, in a league match.
