The Muleshoe Mules baseball team (Muleshoe, TX), was overwhelmed 15-3 in Saturday's non-league outing with the host Friona Chieftans (Friona, TX)
The Chieftans now hold a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Tulia for a 3A Region I District 1 outing on Tuesday, March 29. Friona will face a Hornets team coming off a 9-8 non-league loss to Clarendon (Clarendon, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 1-8.
Next, the Mules face the Denver City Mustangs (Denver City, TX) in a 3A Region I District 3 outing, on Saturday, April 2. Muleshoe will attempt to advance on its 2-7 season record. The Mustangs enter the outing with a 1-2 record after their 13-3 non-league win over Dimmitt (Dimmitt, TX).
