North Carolina High School Baseball - J.H. Rose sneaks past Middle Creek

The J.H. Rose Rampants (Greenville, NC) baseball nipped the visiting Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC), 8-7 in Saturday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Rampants play the New Bern Bears (New Bern, NC) in a Big East 3A/4A contest, on Tuesday, March 29. J.H. Rose will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Bears enter the contest with a 5-4 record after their 16-0 league win over Northside - Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC).

The Mustangs now sport a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Green Hope for a Southwest Wake 4A contest on Tuesday, March 29. Middle Creek will play a Falcons squad coming off a 12-7 non-league win over Athens Drive (Raleigh, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 6-2.
